At Mahki House, we believe that everyone deserves a second chance. Founded with the mission to reduce recidivism, we are committed to helping formerly incarcerated individuals rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. Through safe housing, personalized case management, and supportive services, we provide the foundation for successful reintegration into society. From securing identification and reconnecting families to guiding clemency applications, our work is centered on restoring hope and creating opportunities for lasting change.
A place to live, is the first step toward independence. Mahki House looks forward to providing safe, supportive living spaces where individuals can regain stability, focus on their goals, and rebuild their lives with dignity. Our housing program will foster accountability and community, helping participants take meaningful steps toward self-sufficiency.
A simple document can be a huge barrier to re-entry. We help participants obtain essential identification, such as state IDs, birth certificates, or Social Security cards. With these documents in hand, individuals can access housing, employment, healthcare, and other critical services.
No one should walk this journey alone. Through personalized case management and coaching, participants receive guidance tailored to their needs — from employment readiness and education planning to life skills and wellness support. Our coaches empower individuals to set achievable goals and stay motivated along the way.
Strong families are the foundation of strong communities. We work to restore and strengthen family connections by offering mediation, counseling referrals, and supportive environments that encourage healing and reconciliation. Our goal is to help participants rebuild relationships that were strained by incarceration.
Financial stability is key to successful re-entry. Through our Representative Payee Services, Mahki House helps participants manage their benefits and monthly expenses responsibly. By ensuring that funds are used for essential needs like housing, food, and healthcare, we provide peace of mind and a foundation for long-term independence.
